Wild West

Wild West is really a situation comedy screened from October 2002 until 2004 starring Catherine Tate and Dawn French. It has been filmed on location in Cornwall and was referred to as a dark comedy from the pen of Simon Nye. Place in the hamlet of St Gweep, Wild-west finds the in the Cornish community. Her life-partner Angel A and shop owners Mary Trewednack would be the attention however there are a number of different personalities in this sit com. The very first series of this sitcom has been scheduled to appear on BBC1 at which its eccentricities met with an unhealthy popular and critical response, but an additional series was commissioned and both series have received retrospective compliments. The Majority of the sitcom was filmed at Cornwall in the village of Portloe.
