Wild America
Wild America is a documentary television show which focuses on wild lands of North America and the crazy animals. By the mid-1970s, Marty Stouffer had put full length documentaries together. At this time, he approached the recruiting managers at Public Broadcasting Service in regards to a wildlife series, the first ever to focus exclusively upon the flora and fauna of North America. PBS signed to the rights to broadcast the series Wild America at 1982 of Marty Stouffer. The series moved onto become perhaps one of the most popular aired by PBS, renowned for its use of film techniques like close ups and slow motion, as well as its unflinching portrayal of nature. Stouffer earned $135,000 per series.
The series's production conducted from 1982 to 1994. The show is no more on PBS. Re runs still air in syndication on tv through much of the United States. Back in 1997, Warner Brothers published a full-length feature picture entitled Wild America, which was based broadly on the biographical story of Marty Stouffer along with his brothers, Mark and Marshall.
