Urban Legends
Urban Legends is a 30 minute 2007 television series hosted by Michael Allcock. David Hewlett became the host in 2011. In each installment, three legends presented and are dramatized to the television audience. The audience is to take a position that two or even one of the three is true. Each legend has witnesses. For the one or two bogus legends, even the witnesses are actors, while the authentic legend utilizes real people influenced by the story. Included in each event are just two quick quiz-like tales, also called mini-myths, which atmosphere before the commercial breaks. Each will begin with the amount of its name and this miniature myth , followed with the story. After the commercial, the answer to this mini-myth is announced since it had and also the remaining portion of the programming continues. The show originally aired on the Biography Channel from the U.S., History Television in Canada and FX at the Great Britain where it had been hosted by Mark Dolan. It has aired in Argentina.
The series temporarily returned to the Syfy system within an"Original Series" with new events starting on Monday April 18, 2011, subsequently proceeded to the normal time, Fridays at 10. The new episodes followed the exact identical structure as the initial but were popularized by the David Hewlett of Stargate. The show now works as reruns and mini-marathons on both the SyFy and Chiller.
