Time Team

Time Team is a tv series which has been aired from 1994 on Channel 4. Presented by actor Tony Robinson and created by tv producer Tim Taylor, each episode featured a team of specialists carrying out an archaeological dig over a period of 3 days, with Robinson explaining the procedure in lay man's terms. This team of specialists shifted all through the series' conduct, but has included archaeologists like Mick Aston, Carenza Lewis, Francis Pryor and Phil Harding. The websites circulated over the show's run have ranged in date from the Palaeolithic right through to the Second World War. In October 2012 Channel 4 announced the final series could be broadcast at 2013. Series 20 was screened in January--March 2013 and several specials are supposed to be screened to 2014.
