The Vice

The Vice is a ITV police drama about the Metropolitan Police Vice Unit. It ran for five succession between 2003 and 1999. It tells the story of the vice squad of the London Metropolitan police force, where under age sex, prostitution, and different organized crime are routine occurrences. Most episodes end a way where the protagonist is caught but not in an'naturally' reasoned way which you'll expect together with TV dramas, and ending a episode unanswered than answered. The tiny dedicated team is led by Detective Inspector Pat Chappel who struggles to deal with the balance between his dwelling and his job lifetime - as do the different members of the group. Working in the seedy underworld contributes to a continual dilemma for its team - that the stress involving the Vice Squad and the vice-related offenses that they explore runs and gives a rich experience to the series. The programme often blurs the line of their team as every member of the group at different points submits permanently or permanently to the temptations of drugs, gender, money or honey traps. Some times with consequences.
