The Tribe

The Tribe is just a brand new Zealand/British postapocalyptic literary television series. It's set at a near-future in which adults have been wiped from a deadly virus, leaving the world to fend for themselves' children. The show's focus is based really on an unnamed city occupied by tribes of teenagers and children. It had been primarily filmed in and around Wellington, New Zealand. The show Was Made by Raymond Thompson and Harry Duffin and by the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group along with the UK's Channel 5 was developed and produced. It's aired over 40 broadcast networks around the environment. It surfaced on Channel 5 on 24 April 1999 and quickly gained a huge fanbase. From 1999 to 2003, 260 half-dozen episodes and five series are made. Series 6 had been scheduled to start filming 2003, however Nick Wilson, of Channel 5, and Raymond Thompson felt that"even though the show was doing well, the cast was becoming too old along with the string was just starting to elongate the heart proposal." They felt that the characters are not children fending for themselves without even adults some longer. The show was cancelled. Channel 5 aired the 2 episodes on 6 September 2003.
