The Real Housewives of Vancouver
The Real Housewives of Vancouver is a Canadian reality television series that airs on the Slice cable channel in Canada. It is the franchise's first Canadian edition; filming on the Shaw Media series began in August 2011. On April 4, 2012, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the show premiered. The two-hour premiere set a new record for the network, with 1.2 million viewers tuning in. The sitcom was renewed for a second season by Slice on May 30, 2012. Season two production began in July 2012 with the return of Jody Claman, Ronnie Seterdahl Negus, and Mary Zilba, as well as the addition of Amanda Hansen, Ioulia Reynolds, and Robin Richmond Reichman to the cast. On February 5, 2013, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, the second season aired. Slice opted out of a reunion for the second season in order to avoid having to cut the season further shorter. On June6,2013, Shaw Media-Slice's parent company-announced that the series has been placed "on pause" as the business investigates other programming options.
