Amy Poehler, Cynthia True, and Erik Wiese co-created The Mighty B! for Nickelodeon. Bessie Higgenbottom, an ambitious Honeybee girl scout, believes that if she collects every Honeybee badge, she will become The Mighty B. Bessie lives in San Francisco with her single mother, Hilary, her brother Ben, and their dog, Happy. Bessie, who is loosely based on a character Poehler played on the improv comedy troupes Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade, is voiced by Poehler.
