The Kids in the Hall
The Kids in the Hall is a Canadian comedy Band formed in 1984, consisting of Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, comedians Dave Foley, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson. Their television show conducted from 1988 to 1994 on CBC in Canada, also 1989 to 1995 on CBS and HBO in the USA. The theme song for this particular show was that the instrumental"With an Average Weekend" by the Canadian ring Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet.
A movie, Brain Candy, which has been launched in 1996 was made by the troupe. The troupe reformed for humor festivals and various tours in 2000. They introduced an eight-part Mini Series, Death Comes to Town in January, 2010.
The name of the band originated in Sid Caesar, that, if a joke didn't go overplayed than anticipated, would attribute it to"the kids in the hall", referring to a group of young authors hanging around the studio.
