The Jetsons

The Jetsons is a American animated sitcom produced by Hanna Barbera, originally airing in prime time until 1987 later as a portion of this morning programming block called The Funtastic World of Hanna Barbera, in 1962-1963. New episodes were produced from. It had been the Space Age counterpart of Hanna-Barbera to The Flintstones. Reruns can be seen often on Boomerang. The Jetsons live at a futuristic utopia of inventions, aliens, holograms, along with fancy contraptions from the year 2062 As the Flintstones live in a universe with machines powered by both birds and dinosaurs. The first string comprised 2 4 incidents and aired together with prime time reruns ongoing through September 8, 1963, on ABC beginning September 23, 1962. During its debut, it had been the first program ever to be aired in color on ABC-TV. By comparison, The Flintstones, while always stated in color, was still broadcast in gray because of its first 2 seasons. Following its own prime time run, the show aired for years on Saturday mornings, starting ABC for the 1963-64 season and then in future seasons on CBS and NBC.
