The Hunger
The Hunger is a television horror anthology series, co-produced by Scott Free Productions, Telescene Film Group Productions and the channel The Movie Network. Though it shares a name with all the feature film The Hunger the show has personality connection or no storyline to the film, and was created by Jeff Fazio.
Originally shown on the Sci Fi Channel in the Usa in the UK, the show can be organized into two seasons, and was broadcast from 1997 to 2000. Each incident was established around an unaffiliated narrative. Terence Stamp hosted each event for its first season, and was substituted in the next season by David Bowie. Stories tended to focus on themes of desire and desire, with a component of soft core erotica. Popular tropes for its stories included sex, vampires, cannibalism, and toxin.
