'The Games' Star Red John Clarke and Bryan Dawe and Australian comedian Gina Riley and celebrity Nicholas Bell. It had been written by John Clarke and Ross Stevenson. The show centred to the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and also satirised corruption and cronyism at the Olympic movement ineptness from the New South Wales public company, and unethical behaviour within politics and the press. An unusual feature of the show was the characters shared the identical name since the actors who played , to enhance the illusion of a documentary on the Sydney Games.
