Tammy
Tammy is an American sitcom. Manufactured by Universal City Studios, 26 color half-hour episodes were aired on ABC from September 17, 1965 on March 11, 1966.
Tammy was broadly centered on both Tammy films. Tammy and the Bachelor. Tammy Tell Me True. Along with Tammy and the Doctor both starring Sandra Dee. The films were adaptations of books by Cid Ricketts Sumner. Additional rural TV sitcoms such as The Beverly Hillbillies partially influenced the series. Specifically, there are similarities between Tammy's Cletus Tarleton along with also The Beverly Hillbillies' Jethro Bodine.
