Shindig!

Shindig! Is an American musical variety series that aired on ABC in September 16, 1964. The show was hosted by Jimmy O'Neill, a disk jockey in Los Angeles during the time who created the show alongside production executive Art Stolnitz and his wife Sharon Sheeley. David Sontag Executive Producer of ABC, re-developed and ABC made the pilot and completely redesigned the show. A new pilot using a cast of artists was taken starring Sam Cooke. This pilot functions as the event.
