Search is an American science fiction show which aired at 10 pm ET, from September 1972 to August 1973. It conducted to 2 3 episodes, but not to mention the pilot film originally titled Probe. The name had to be changed because Probe was that the name of an existent PBS series when acquired for show production. On BBC 1 the show aired in the United Kingdom beneath the name Search Control. The series was created by Leslie Stevens, also produced by Robert Justman, Leslie Stevens, John Strong and Tony Spinner. The high concept was clarified as"science fiction in the current world" and the episodes featured many hightech elements that are deemed prevalent in current science fiction shows.
