Power Play
Power Play has been a Canadian television drama show, which aired in 1998 to 2000 on CTV. The show was filmed at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario.
The series starred Michael Riley as Brett Parker, also a New York sports representative who became a National Hockey League franchise, the Hamilton Steelheads' general manager.
One of the plots of the show dealt with Parker love--hate relationships with all the game, '' the team and his superior at McArdle Industries, corporate Colleen Blessed, played by Kari Matchett.
The throw also included Gordon Pinsent as Jennifer Dale, Jonathan Crombie, staff operator Duff McArdle and Al Waxman. The show's theme song was a updated version of the Stompin' Tom Connors timeless,"The Hockey Song", conducted partially by Connors himselfand transitioning into the performance of the ring Rusty.
The series was temporarily aired about the US system UPN, starting in 1999, but has been pulled after only two episodes. The next episode aired in the US gets the distinction of being the lowest-rated episode of almost any prime time television series aired by some other US network.
