2014 will see the debut of the Australian television program Party Tricks on Network Ten. When David McLeod, a well-known television and radio personality, is unexpectedly chosen as the new opposition leader in the six-part series, Kate Ballard, a dedicated and tenacious politician, loses all hope of becoming the next State Premier. David and Kate had a turbulent, covert relationship. For Southern Star Entertainment, the six-part drama was written by Michael Lucas and produced by John Edwards and Imogen Banks.
