Ode to Joy

Can the Ode to Joy apartment building's five single, self-employed career women find happiness on their own terms? An Di is a successful businesswoman who has returned to China to look for her younger brother after studying in New York. Qu Xiao Xiao is only 25 years old, but she already runs a modest business. Fang Sheng Mei grew up in poverty but now works for a multinational corporation. Qiu Ying Ying is a 20-year-old small-town girl attempting to break into the big city. Guan Ju Er is a 20-year-old from a well-educated family who is just starting out in the workforce. A male (or two) is attempting to get the attention of these women. Dr. Zhao is a flirty and attractive doctor. The stoic businessman Qi Dian. Sheng Mei's devoted friend Wang Bai Chuan has always been by her side. Yao Bin is a chaebol of the second generation.
