Monster Squad

Monster Squad is a television show which aired Saturday mornings on NBC out of 1976-1977 that's unrelated to the later movie of the same name. The show stars Fred Grandy as Walt, a criminology student working as a nightwatchman at"Fred's Wax Museum". To pass the time, Walt assembled a prototype"Crime Computer" hidden in a large stone sarcophagus near an exhibit of legendary creatures. When Walt plugged into his computer,"oscillating vibrations" brought into life the wax statues of Dracula, the wolf man who was appointed"Bruce W. Wolf", and Frankenstein's Dragon that was simply referred to as"Frank N. Stein" in the credits. Became stunt crimefighters who used their distinctive abilities to battle and defeat several supervillains. In most episodes, Walt will send out the monsters to explore crimes and struggle the villains while monitoring those actions from the wax museum via the Crime Computer, presumably because his job required him to beat the wax museum whatsoever times. But, Walt would join the struggle with his comrades in some episodes and come into the rescue when required.
