Meteor Garden
Meteor Garden is a 2001 Taiwanese Play starring Ken Chu, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Barbie Hsu. It relies on Japanese sh?jo manga show, Boys Over Flowers, composed by Yoko Kamio. It led by Cai Yuexun and had been produced by Comic Ritz International Production with Angie Chai as manufacturer.
The show was broadcast in Taiwan on Chinese Television System that is free to air to 16 April 2001 from 1-2 August 2001. An additional mini-series, Meteor Rain was manufactured in April 2001 and the sequel Meteor Garden II was broadcast out of 11 November 2002 to 25 December 2002. The show is the initial Tv adaptation of this manga, followed with its sequel Meteor Garden II and Japanese Hana Yori Dango, its sequel Hana Yori Dango Returns along with South Korean Boys Over Flowers.
At the series' end, F4 Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu continued to perform and released three studio albums. They ceased the use of this name"F 4" in 2007 at the objection of Japanese publisher Shueisha, that possesses the copyright to Hana Yori Dango, in order to avoid any confusion with the Japanese and South Korean form of the live action adaptations of this manga. The group has been renamed"JVKV", from the first initial of this quartet as a way of age.
