Little Women
Little ladies, also known as Wakakusa no Yon Shimai, is a 1981 Japanese animated television series adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. The series created by Toei Animation for the Kokusai Eigasha firm and is led by Kazuya Miyazaki.
The series had been produced to a television special based on Alcott's novel by exactly the same cartoon studio. Even the television series personality layouts and people of the television special differ. Jo, by way of example, while she's blond in both versions, has curly haired hair rather than hair in it series.
This show is sometimes mistaken with Nippon Animation's 1987 World Masterpiece Theater television series founded on Small ladies, Ai no Wakakusa Monogatari, since both series were dubbed in English and broadcast on U.S. cable TV in the 1980s. In addition, both television series share a voice performer: Keiko Han, that plays Beth in this television series, was cast in the 1987 series as Meg.
