Lexx

Lexx is a scientific fantasy television series that follows the exploits of a mismatched collection of people onboard the biological spacecraft Lexx. They journey between two realms, encountering planets such as a parody of Earth. The series is a collaboration between Canada and Germany, with extra funding from Britain's Channel 5. In January 2000, the Sci Fi Channel purchased the series from Salter Street Films and began screening versions of Season 2 episodes for US audiences. Salter Street Films, which was eventually acquired by Alliance Atlantis, co-produced Lexx. Lexx broadcast on the Alliance Atlantis-owned Showcase network in Canada. The majority of the series was shot in Halifax and Berlin, with other locations in Iceland, Bangkok, and Namibia.
