L.A. Law
L.A. Law can be an American television legal drama show that ran for eight seasons on NBC from September 15, 1986, to May 19, 1994.
It included a lot of Bochco's trademark features including a great number of storylines drama and offthewall comedy. It reflected the societal and ethnic ideologies of their 1980s and early 1990s, and a number of the cases featured in the series dealt with hot-topic problems like abortion, racism, homosexual rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The show also revealed societal anxieties between their less well-paid qualified staff and the wealthy lawyer protagonists.
The series won 15 Emmy Awards, and was popular with audiences and critics.
