Knight Rider

Michael Long, an undercover police officer, is taken while exploring a case and left for dead with his assailants. He's rescued by Wilton Knighta wealthy, dying creator and aide who arouses surgery, including a face and a brand new identity--that of Michael Knight. Michael is subsequently provided a special computerized and indestructible car called the Knight Industries Two Thousand (nicknamed KITT), and also a mission: apprehend criminals who are beyond the reach of law. The series depicts Michael's exploits and KITT combat the forces of evil on behalf of the Foundation for Government and Law.
