Jackass

Jackass is an American reality show that first aired on MTV from 2000 to 2002. It shows people doing dangerous and crude tricks and stunts that hurt themselves. The show helped Bam Margera, Steve-O, and Johnny Knoxville, who had only done a few small roles before, get started in television and acting. Since2002, MTV's sister company Paramount Pictures has made and released three Jackass movies, continuing the franchise after it was over on TV. Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Homewrecker, Dr. Steve-O, and Blastazoid are all spin-offs of the show. The show was ranked #68 on the "New TV Classics" list by Entertainment Weekly.
