I'm Alan Partridge
I'm Alan Partridge is a BBC situation comedy starring Steve Coogan that aired in two series of six episodes each in 1997 and 2002. The show followed the titular Alan Partridge, a failed television host whose former antics were portrayed in the chat-show parody Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, and who is now hosting a local radio show in Norwich. Felicity Montagu played Lynn Benfield, Coogan's devoted, mouse-like personal assistant; Simon Greenall played Geordie Travel Tavern handyman/BP garage attendant Michael; and Phil Cornwell played disc jockey Dave Clifton in both episodes. It was nominated for three BAFTAs, two British Comedy Awards, and a Royal Television Society Award.
