I Spy
I is an American television secret agent experience collection. It awakened Robert Culp Alexander Scott, because his trainer as tennis player Kelly Robinson with Bill Cosby and ran for three seasons on NBC. The characters' journeys as ostensible"tennis bums", Robinson playing talented tennis being an amateur with all the wealthy in substitution for food and lodging, and Scott labeling together, given that the cover story concealing their roles as top agents to the Pentagon. Their real work kept them busy chasing women, spies, and villains.
The powers behind the series were Morton Fine and writers David Friedkin and cinematographer Fouad explained. They formed Three F Productions where the series was produced. Friedkin and fine were co-producers and mind writers, and also wrote the scripts for 16 episodes, one of which Friedkin directed. Friedkin appeared in 2 episodes and also dabbled in acting.
Actor-producer Sheldon Leonard, best known for playing gangster roles in the 1940s and'50s, was the producer. He played with a gangster-villain role in two episodes and looked in a funny cameo in a series as himself. Additionally, he guided one episode and served all through the set as intermittent second-unit director.
