Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth

Set through the Silla dynasty,'' Sam Maekjong is present queen regent and the fallen king, Jiso's son, but he was kept in hiding for protection since he had been a boy when his father was murdered. Over time the strong nobles have tried and failed to usurp power from Jiso, causing her to grow wary and after even loath to hand over the throne. She creates at the very top group of male youth that train in education and fighting, the Hwarang Since her son comes naturally. The existent power factions are cut round by their presence and also Sam Maekjong is amidst their positions under the name Kim Ji-Dwi that is fictitious, unbeknownst to additional Hwarang members.
