Glitter
Glitter is an American television series broadcast by the ABC network throughout the 1984-1985 season.
The series was created by Aaron Spelling and has been set behind the scenes of a premier entertainment magazine branded"Glitter" and attempted to combine the urgency of journalism and business politics with the glamorous lifestyles of the wealthy and famous featured at the pages of the magazine. The major cast members were David Birney, Morgan Brittany and Arthur Hill.
The series' arrangement was like two other ABC shows that were additionally produced by Aaron Spelling. The Love Boat and Hotel it heavily featured visible guest appearances from celebrities, such as Ginger Rogers and Cyd Charisse. Glitter was not just a ratings success. The very first few episodes aired in September 1984, after three more episodes were displayed and the show was taken off the air. Ratings didn't improve and the series was cancelled. The eight episodes were displayed throughout December 1985 as a portion of ABCs late night lineup.
Glitter has been sold abroad. It was revealed in the United Kingdom at the summer of 1985 on BBC1.
