Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters is an animated television show written by Tribune Entertainment and created by Filmation and launched following the victory of Ivan Reitman and Columbia Pictures' 1984 film Ghostbusters. It conducted from September 8 to December 5, 1986 in daytime syndication and produced 65 events. The animation was based from 1975 titled The Ghost Busters. It is not to be mistaken with all the show The Real Ghostbusters, that had been based upon the 1984 film Ghostbusters. Columbia images had to get the rights from Filmation for its own film, and afterwards Ghostbusters was a hit, Filmation went into production based on the personalities from its series. The show is called only"Ghostbusters", but home video releases used the name"Filmation's Ghostbusters" to avoid confusion. Reruns of the show air on Qubo Night-owl, also on the Retro Television Network. The show can be seen on Hulu.
