Ellen

Ellen is a American television sitcom that aired on the ABC network comprising of 109 events. The title character of Ellen Morgan, played with comedian Ellen DeGeneres, was a book store owner in her thirties. On Ellen's dealing with her friends, her loved ones and the issues of life, the show centered. The show is famous for being the very first one in which the main character came out as gay, which DeGeneres' character failed at the 1997 incident"Puppy Episode". This event received a wonderful deal of media exposure, controversy that was ignited, and prompted ABC to set a civic advisory. The series' theme song,"So Called Friend" is by Scottish band Texas. A gag was that every incident had a opening credits set, leading to Ellen's ongoing look for the opening credits.
