Elfen Lied

The Diclonius is a mutated homo sapien who is said to have been chosen by God to destroy humanity. They have two horns on their heads and a "sixth sense" that lets them move things with their minds. Because of this dangerous power, the government has taken them and put them in laboratories. Lucy, a young, crazy Diclonius, gets out of her chains and kills most of the guards in the laboratory before getting shot in the head as she tries to escape. She manages to stay alive and drift to a beach, where she is found by two teenagers named Kouta and Yuka. Since she had lost her memories, she was given the name "Nyuu," which is the only word she can now say, and the two let her stay at Kouta's house. But it looks like the bad "Lucy" isn't dead just yet...
