Davy Crockett

Davy Crockett is just a sequential that aired on ABC in episodes around the Disneyland series. The show stars Fess Parker as Reallife frontiersman Davy Crockett and Buddy Ebsen as his buddy. The first 3 episodes of the sequential were edited together in the 1960s when the Disney app went into NBC as the 1955 picture Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier, and rebroadcast in color. The show and film have been known for its catchy theme song,"The Ballad of Davy Crockett". It had been filmed in color at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at Janss Conejo Ranch and Oconaluftee close to the entry of Qualla Reservation at the Mountain Farm Museum. The final two episodes were edited together with the 1956 film Davy Crockett and the River Pirates. It was filmed in Cave in Rock, Illinois.
