Custer
Custer, also referred to as Custer's Legend, is currently a 17-episode military-western tv set which ran on ABC from September 6 together with Wayne Maunder in the role of then Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer. During the American Civil War, Custer had climbed to the rank of major general, the newest in the Union Army. He had been demoted after the warfare to the position of Captain through induce discounts, but had been reinstated as a Lieutenant Colonel in command of the Seventh Cavalry, stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas in 1866. A number of the soldiers at the regiment were former Confederates derelicts, or offenders. Until the script timeline would have reached the Little Big Horn River of southeastern Montana, in which all perished at a Sioux Indian ambush, on June 25, 1876 the series was declared,
Robert F. Simon played Custer's controlling officer, U.S. General Alfred H. Terry, who disapproved of Custer's long hair along with much of his approach of fighting with Indians. Slim Pickens surfaced like a scout named California Joe Milner. Michael Dante appeared as Sioux Chief Crazy Horse. Peter Palmer played a former soldier, Sergeant James Bustard. Grant Woods seemed as Captain Myles Keogh. Read Morgan, formerly a cavalry officer on NBC's The Deputy, appeared in the episode"Spirit Woman" at the use of a drug guy.
