Coupling
Coupling is a British television sitcom written by Steven Moffat which aired on BBC2 from May 2000 . Manufactured by Hartswood Films for the BBC, the series centers online dating and sexual adventures and mishaps of six friends in their thirties, often depicting the three women and the three men each talking among themselves about the same events, but in entirely different terms.
The show was motivated by Moffat's relationship to the extent they gave their own names to among those characters. Coupling is an example of this"group-genre", an outfit show that'd shown popular at the moment. Critics compared the series to the sitcoms Friends and Seinfeld.
The critical reaction was largely favorable, and also the series was called"Best TV Comedy" at the 2003 British Comedy Awards. The series debuted to unimpressive evaluations, but its prevalence soon increased and in the UK the series had achieved evaluations at the conclusion of this third show. The show began airing on BBC America in the United States and on PBS channels in 2002 and immediately gained a passionate fanbase that there also. The series is all about around the globe. Shortlived Greek and American adaptations were briefly manufactured in 2007 and 2003 respectively.
