Chronicle

Krøniken is a television movie which aired on Sunday evenings between January 2007 and January 2004. The 22-episode series joins the lives of two fictional families through the development of the Danmarks Radio television system from the 1950s to the 1970s. January 2004 created by Stig Thorsbøe for the DR system, the series surfaced on 4. Popularity records were establish by the program's very first season. Five of all those episodes were recorded one of the ten most watched television programs since records began in Denmark. The list was topped by the season finale with 2,717,000 audiences. For the International Emmy Award for Best Drama the program was nominated in 2004 but lost to Waking the Dead. The series concluded with the 22nd episode airing on 1 January 2007 and observed by 2.4 million viewers.
