Bread is really actually a British television sitcom, written by Carla Lane, produced by the BBC and screened to 3. The series focused on the devoutly-Catholic and extended Boswell category of Liverpool, in the district of Dingle, led by its matriarch Nellie via lots of ups and downs as they strove to produce their way through life in Thatcher's Britain without a visible means of support. The street is Elswick Street. A household named Boswell had featured in Lane's earlier in the day sitcom The Liver Birds and Lane admitted in interviews that the 2 families were related. Freddie, husband and nellie's feckless, abandoned her for another woman known as'Lilo Lill'. Her children Aveline, Jack, Adrian, Joey and Billy continued to dwell in your home in Kelsall Street and donated money to the family fund that was central, chiefly through benefit fraud and the selling of stolen goods.
