Brass Eye
Brass Eye is a UK television series of amazing information magazines. A string of six episodes aired on Channel 4 in 1997, and also a further incident in 2001.
The series Was Made by Chris Morris, also composed by Jane Bussmann, David Quantick, Peter Baynham, Morris, Arthur Mathews and Graham Linehan. The show was led by Michael Cumming. It was a sequel to Morris's early in the day teaser news programmes About the Hour and The Day Today. It satirised media portrayal of social ills, in production and sensationalism of moral loopholes. The series starred Morris's The Day Today colleague Doon MacKichan and Gina McKee, Mark Heap, Simon Pegg, Julia Davis and Kevin Eldon.
