Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris

Five-time Emmy Award winner Neil Patrick Harris is currently coming to NBC on a fresh prime time variety series based around the U.K.'s hugely popular"Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway." The show will comprise comedy sketches, musical numbers hidden camera pranks on appearances and celebrities by stars. Harris, who has served as the Emmy and Tony Award sponsor and has been announced as sponsor of those 2015 Academy Awardsand will bring his multi-faceted abilities to the forefront with the series. Harris recently Costarred at David Fincher's"Gone Girl," and finished a series on Broadway as the result of"Hedwig and the Angry Inch," for which he won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical. For nine seasons he played with the role of Barney Stinson on"How I Met Your Mother," that he received four Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations.
