Being Eileen
Being Eileen is just a BBC"heart warming" comedy-drama which began being a fresh six-part series on 4 February, and ended on 11 March 2013. Branded Lapland, it was broadcast in the uk on BBC One on 24 December 2011, the station the series airs on. Although initially one 75-minute incident which was set in Lapland, Finland, it had been announced to using a set renamed be-ing Eileen, consisting of six 30 minute episodes, due to the results of the single incident, which had been spotted by 6.9 million audiences upon its original airing. The series aired on BBC 2 as a portion of Sign Zone, which features sign vocabulary all through. The series had been launched on DVD on 1.
The set, written by Michael Wynne, includes an ensemble cast. Headed by Sue Johnston, who plays Eileen Lewis, the programme focusses on the widowed matriarch of a"large, close knit and dysfunctional Northern family". The one episode concentrated on the family's visit to Lapland, as the series focusses on their own life in Birkenhead. Stephen Graham and elizabeth Berrington and their spouses, play with the kiddies of Eileen, Julie Graham and whilst William Ash play. Of the cast - Johnston, Berrington, Ash Graham and Keith Barron- a love interest for Eileen - returned to the series, with the exclusion of Stephen Graham and Zawe Ashton, that played Jingle Jill.
