Alvin and the Chipmunks
Alvin and the Chipmunks is an animated television series produced by Bagdasarian Productions in Conjunction with Ruby-Spears Enterprises in 1983--87, Also DIC Entertainment in 1988--90.
It would be now the followup into the 1961 -- 62 show, The Alvin Show and aired on NBC in 1983 to 1990. The show introduced Miss Beatrice Miller, The Chipettes, three Chipmunks by their very own caretaker. In 1988, the show changed production businesses to DiC Enterprises and was renamed only The Chipmunks.
During the fifth season of the show, in 1987, the Chipmunks' first feature film was first released to theaters by The Samuel Goldwyn Company. The movie featured both the Chipmunks and Chipettes at a contest traveling on the planet and was led by Janice Karman. The show switched names to the Movies. Each episode was a spoof of a Hollywood movie like Back to the Future King Kong. Television specials containing the characters were also released. The special Rockin' Through the Decades was produced. The Chipmunks also awakened with other cartoon characters for the medication abuse-prevention special Cartoon that season.
