Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog

American animated series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog based on Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog video game It premiered in the fall of 1993 on TBS. Sonic the Hedgehog and his sidekick Tails are on the run from Dr. Robotnik and his army of robots, trying to take over the planet Mobius. A second Sonic the Hedgehog show, just titled "Sonic the Hedgehog," aired in parallel. A lighthearted tone and unusual plotlines distinguish Adventures from the other Sonic series, which depict Sonic as skillful and cunning in contrast to Robotnik and his robot companions Scratch and Grounder.
