A Woman Called Moses
A Woman Called Moses is a television miniseries about Harriet Tubman, an escaped African American slave who helped organize the Underground Railroad and escorted scores of African Americans from slavery in the South to freedom in the North and Canada. The production, narrated by Orson Welles, aired on the NBC television network on December 11 and12, 1978. Cicely Tyson, an Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee, played Tubman.
