Warriors of the Year 2072

In the not too distant future, two competing television networks produce bloody game shows in an effort to increase their viewership. One television network creates a contemporary iteration of the ancient Roman gladiators, with the exception that they compete on motorbikes rather than chariots, and it casts convicted killers in the roles of the gladiators. The network comes to the conclusion that it requires a winner for this sport, so they fabricate a murder case against a consistent victor from another competition and cast him in the role of the protagonist on the show.
