Touko Laaksonen returns home after a epic and harrowing adventure serving his country in World War II, but life in Finland during peacetime proves equally painful. He finds peace time Helsinki rampant with persecution round him being pressured to marry women and have kids of men and those gay. Touko finds refuge within his amazing art, specialising in drawings of men, free of inhibitions.
