Tokyo Sonata

Ryûhei Sasaki (Teruyuki Kagawa) is keeping a secret from his spouse, Megumi (Kyôko Koizumi), and his two teenaged sons. Though he leaves the home daily, he is not going to do the job. He's going to a employment office. He lost his job due to outsourcing, but is decided to discover another position encouraging a old friend who's also out of work. But when Megumi accidentally finds out the secret of Ryûhei and does not tell him , her hope in him, and their union, suffers.
