The Uprising

This film is about the liberation of Nicaragua's Anastasio Somoza regime by the Sandinistas. The film depicts critical moments in the battle for León, a city near to the capital Managua and the first territory to be liberated. Numerous residents of León who engaged in the guerrilla movement and members of the sandinista army were included in the video.
