The Unsinkable Molly Brown
Mountains in the distance, waterfall in the foreground. Is that a river canoe? No, a baby in a cradle. Molly Brown has weathered her first disaster— a flood. So she sets out on her own at sixteen. Can she sing and play? Sure, she promises the Leadville saloon keeper. She will soon marry Johnny Brown, who will be able to replace the cigar wrapper wedding band with a gold and jewel duplicate in a few years. But it takes more than a million dollars to fit in in Denver. A party in Denver escalates into a ballroom brawl when the Browns travel to Europe. Molly travels alone to Europe on the Titanic. So the narrative doesn't finish here.
