The Summit

The Summit is just a 2012 documentary film concerning the 2008 k-2 tragedy. It combines documentary footage using recreations of the events of the 2008 tragedy that is k-2. Along the path to and from the summit, the eleven climbers died within a short time span in history, creating a few of those catastophes. Mountaineer Fredrik Sträng captured much of the documentary footage. Sträng was planning to accomplish some Documentary that was aborted as a result of this simple fact he didn't reach the summit. The footage was valuable to help solving since all the climbers had different stories about what happened what did happen.
