The Romantic Englishwoman
What is real and what's fiction? Equipped with his publication with writer's block, Lewis Fielding turns to some film script of a woman finding herself from baden-baden after his spouse Elizabeth yields. She did not quite find herself there but had a brief encounter in a lift with a German who says he is just a poet. The German is at England, gets himself invited to tea at which he says he admires Fielding's novels. Which one does he like the most useful? "Tom Jones." Amused in being confused with all one different Fielding, the novelist works the German.
